Prof. Darkwa is the President of the Teletech Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from  Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., USA; a post-graduate degree from the University of Oslo, Norway, and a BA (Hons) from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also has certification in on-line Education, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate and other ICT related qualifications.

He has several peer-reviewed published articles, co-authored a number of books and presented close to 80 conference papers. Notably, Prof. has written well over 700 articles on various ICT topics which have been published in the Ghanaian Times, one of the Ghanaian leading newspapers.

Prof. Darkwa is also the Chief of Patriensa Traditional Area, under the stool name, Nana Osei Darkwa III.

He is the recipient of numerous awards. Among the prominent ones are the Oxford Academic Union (March 2016); Millennium Excellence Foundation for outstanding dedication and contribution as a Governor for LAAP prize (2014); West Africa Noble Forum (2013); World Education Congress for excellence in Education, Leadership and Training (2012); Abi-USA for Passion, Courage, Commitment, Success, Excellence, Virtue, Spirit (2011); West Africa International Magazine in recognition of contributions and achievements in education (2010); and others.

He is an accomplished leader, an effective speaker, a writer par excellence, a true visionary.
